Week 5- Apple Teacher Badge Review Assignment
This week we reviewed iMovie on the Apple Teacher Learning Center website and completed the quiz to earn a badge. iMovie is an app that allows you to make a movie of either different video clips, or pictures, or a combination of both all complied together into one "movie." Students can work collaboratively to produce a project or work independently; Students can use iMovie to show what they have learned, build communication skills by working with other students, and express their creativity. We read through the iBook called "iMovie for iPad Starter Guide." I have personally never used iMovie to make anything, so I thought this part in the iBook was resourceful. I didn't know you could do a lot of things in this app before reading through the iBook. The iBook pointed out just about everything that can be done in iMovie, from adding pictures and videos to adding a voiceover to your project. You can even add music and adjust the volume throughout the movie. Finished projects can be shared using a variety of methods allowing easing sharing for everyone. iMovie is a great resource that can be used in the classroom and out!
