This week I also took the quiz to earn my badge for Keynote on Apple Teacher. Keynote is pretty much the same as Powerpoint which I have used numerous times for projects and classes. I again haven't had much experience with Keynote, as I use Powerpoint just because it is what I am familiar with. The iBook was informational and was pretty clear about how to use Keynote. I thought there was a lot of cool features within Keynote, many that I don't think are available in Powerpoint. It seems easy enough to add charts, images, and tables. You can group multiple items together so they move at the same time and keep the same spacing and formatting. You can again use Instant Alpha on Keynote as well that allows you to remove the background in photos so you can layer them how you want. Another feature that I thought was cool, is that you can take the images that you have put on a slide and then animate them to do many things and multiple images can do different animations. Magic Move is a cool feature that I also explored more this week as you can see in my project down below. This is a feature that allows you to transition multiple objects from one slide to another. It took me a little bit to get the hang of it as I hadn't done it before, but after I did it was so cool to use. I can definitely see Keynote as being something that I would use in my future classroom with my students! I think it has a lot of neat things that students would able to be creative with.
